NORTON legislator Temba Mliswa has urged Zimbabwean businesses to support each other against white monopoly capital which he alleged is fuelling market instability in the country.
At a press briefing in the capital, Mliswa said it is “foolish for Zimbabweans think they are liberated” when they are not controlling the commodity market.
“We have black and white cartels. The former is not even near to the latter. White cartels are fuelling corruption to unprecedented levels. Their companies make applications for forex at the RBZ at concessionary rates.
“They then externalise money through a company called AGA Africa. Why are we allocating forex to companies like Innscor that already operate their businesses getting forex?” he said.
Mliswa claimed businesses run by whites like Irvines, Innscor, Colcom and Halsteds are fighting black man’s businesses, yet “we celebrate the downfall of our people.”
