Zanda Zakuza has made many people confused and some in a slight mode of panic when #PrayForZandaZakuza trended. After all the time and energy spent by Tweeps on the hashtag trying to look for answers, many were left disappointed to learn that trend was all about her new music.
The musician dismissed those claims and said she is working on new music however the title is not chosen and it is not even released.
Infact that hashtag was created by her when she fainted in studio and was taken to the hospital. She joked and said she needed a cold beer afterwards
Hey guys
So I fainted in studio today..(while trying to resurrect another DJ’s career)JK😅 Got a drip, some meds & put on bed rest..truth be told, a cold beer would’ve worked great.🤷🏾♀️
Thanks for the prayers and kind messages🙏🏾❤️Dragon lives.#PrayForZandaZakuza #GBVmustfall

Moments later she trended but for all the wrong reasons. Whilst many were having a jol with the hashtag, some thought it was rather insensitive for the musician and her fans to play around with those words at a time where women are being killed and abused.
Recently it’s almost everyday where news of a woman or child being killed or any form of heartbreaking story goes viral on social media and the country is currently sensitive.
